Defining Me

Often times we let what we think we are supposed to be define us. I never wanted to sit on the sidelines. In high school, I always felt out of place and awkward. I wanted to play football but I didn’t want to be that girl. You know the type, butch and hard, hates men and thinks she’s better than them. I wanted to be tough and soft, a feminine ass kicker, but I believed a woman could not be both. #rugby taught me differently. I learned that the only thing that defines a person is their actions. I learned to love myself. Thank you, #blrr for teaching me what is important. I love you girls; you can’t imagine how much you have inspired me. Also, nice ass Mara. #reflection #rugger #musings #amwriting
